BDP's Super Bowl Squares - February 7, 2010

Congrats to the winners... results below:

Welcome to the homepage of the 10th Annual BDP Super Bowl Pool.  It is your typical "squares" system using the numbers 0 thru 9 on each team representing the last digit of their score.  i.e. 10 (AFC) to 21 (NFC) is (0,1).  If you participated last year, nothing has changed.

Cost per square is $25, with a total of 100 squares available.  max pot is $2500.00


You can purchase as many squares as you want.

Payouts are as follows:

 10% of pot for 1st Quarter final score ($250 if squares are sold out)
10% of pot for 2nd Quarter final score
10% of pot for 3rd Quarter final score
10% of pot for 4th Quarter final score (not including overtime)
10% of pot for final score of game
*if there is no OT, then 4th qtr gets 20% of the pot!!!

Balance of pot (50%) minus $50 mgmt fee is divided by number of score changes.  Thus, every time the score changes, there is a winner.  For example, NFC team scores a touchdown, the score is 6-0 = payout.  extra point, now the score is 7-0 = payout.  Every score change pays $$$ plus zero to zero at beginning of the game.  So, if you draw (0,0) as your number, you're a guaranteed winner.  In the event all squares are not purchased and winning square is blank the following applies:  quarterly winner and game final winner blank will be contributed to 'balance of pot' for score change payouts.  score change winner will not be included in total score changes.  sound confusing?  it is, so let's buy up all the squares!!!

 

Square numbers will be drawn and posted on or before the Friday preceding the Super Bowl - with participating witnesses present.

Winners will be posted the 2nd Monday following the Super Bowl.

Available squares are shown above.  To pick the square you want, simply provide me with the NUMBER of that square.  I will update as frequent as work allows me...... so you're not guaranteed that square but if it is available at update time, you will get it.  If it is not available, I will select one for you.  Your initials / name will appear in that square after money is received.  Once squares are complete, I will draw AFC/NFC numbers randomly in the presence of other co-workers that are participating.  I will post final #'s to this website.  Check back prior to kickoff for your numbers.  Please fill out form below and send your money to:
